FINANCE UPDATES – Jan 2020 – Protection Policies To Consider
In the last few years we’ve seen a huge amount of political
upheaval, along with several high-profile business failures
and accompanying job losses.
September 2019 saw travel group Thomas Cook collapse and
cause around 9,000 job losses in the UK, and 22,000 worldwide.
Meanwhile, high-street retailers have continued to struggle, with
UK retail losing the equivalent of 85,000 jobs in the year to
30 September 2019 according to the British Retail Consortium.
